SBND Mission
SSN Small Business & Nonprofit Development Group (SBND) is a 501c3 tax exempt organization.
Our mission as a “self-help” business support network is to provide hands-on strategic organization planning, innovation improvement and fund development initiatives to start and grow prosperous community enterprises in Illinois, Cook County and Chicago neighborhoods.
Objectives: As a team, we create network events and education programs designed to increase revenue streams, cultivate new legal enterprises and develop job opportunities in communities served by our partners, sponsors and associate members.
SBND Vision
SBND vision is to transform small micro community enterprises into multi-million dollar corporations that have the capacity to thrive in any economy.
SBND History of Accomplishments and Community Impact
SSN Small Business & Nonprofit Development Group (SBND) was founded in 2011 by Strategic Solutions Network, Inc. (SSN) as a nonprofit social enterprise organization.
From inception to date, SBND has created support networks and resource development platforms that educated entrepreneurs, attracted patronage to community enterprises and empowered over 200 grassroots, small business and nonprofit organizations for success.
In essence, SBND Community Enterprise Development Projects (CEDP) strive to strengthen the capacity of unemployed, under-employed, U.S. Veterans and those at risk of unemployment to redefine their career goals, upgrade their skill sets, and create revenue streams through turnaround strategies for existing organizations or establishing new legal enterprises in neighborhoods impacted most by economic recession.
